Your files stay on your Mac.
Man Page files use roff markup — a typesetting language built for terminal pagers. Convertessa reads the roff macros and outputs standard Markdown: headings, bold, code spans, and lists map directly from their .man equivalents. The result is documentation you can paste into a README, wiki, or static site without hand-editing.
Drag one .man file or an entire directory of manual pages into Convertessa. Files stay on your Mac — nothing is uploaded.
Pick Markdown from the output format list. Convertessa maps roff section macros, bold, italic, and indented example blocks to their Markdown equivalents.
Click Convert. Each .man file becomes a .md file in the same folder, ready to drop into a README, wiki, or docs site.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.
