Your files stay on your Mac.
reStructuredText and Org Mode are both plain-text markup formats, but they use different syntax for headings, lists, code blocks, and hyperlinks. Convertessa rewrites each .rst construct into its .org equivalent — section titles become Org headings, directive blocks become source or example blocks, and inline markup is translated throughout. The resulting .org file opens directly in Emacs or any Org-aware tool.
Drag a single .rst file or an entire folder onto Convertessa. Batch mode processes every .rst file in the folder in one pass. No file is uploaded — conversion runs entirely on your Mac.
Pick Org Mode from the output format list. Convertessa maps .rst section titles, bullet and enumerated lists, code blocks, and hyperlinks to their .org counterparts.
Click Convert. Each .rst file is written out as a .org file with all markup translated to Org syntax.
