Your files stay on your Mac.
Converting Rich Text (.rtf) to Org Mode produces a plain-text .org file with Org syntax—headings, lists, and emphasis mapped from RTF markup. The result drops straight into Emacs, Doom, or any Org-aware editor. Everything runs locally; your documents never leave your Mac.
Drag one .rtf file or an entire folder onto Convertessa. Batch mode processes every Rich Text file in one pass.
Pick Org Mode from the output format list. Convertessa maps RTF headings, bold, italic, and list structure to the equivalent Org syntax.
Click Convert. Each .rtf becomes a .org file beside the original, with no upload and no internet connection required.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

Right-click any file in Finder and choose Convert. A Quick Action handles it on the spot — no need to open the app first.
