Your files stay on your Mac.
SYLK (Symbolic Link) is a decades-old Microsoft interchange format that most modern spreadsheet apps no longer open reliably. Converting to ODS produces a fully open OpenDocument Spreadsheet file, natively supported by LibreOffice, OpenOffice, and any ODF-compliant application. Cell values, formulas, and structure are preserved — all processed locally on your Mac, with no data ever leaving your machine.
Drag one .slk file or an entire folder of SYLK files into Convertessa. No upload step — files stay on your Mac throughout.
Choose OpenDocument Sheet from the output format list. Convertessa will convert every .slk file to .ods, carrying cell data and formulas across.
Click Convert. Your .ods files appear alongside the originals, ready to open in LibreOffice Calc, OpenOffice, or any ODF-compatible application.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

No cloud. No account. No upload. Every conversion happens entirely on-device, using the power already in your Mac. What you convert is nobody’s business but yours.
