Convertessa decodes each Monkey's Audio file and rewrites it as an uncompressed AIFF container, preserving every sample exactly. The output plays natively in QuickTime, Logic Pro, GarageBand, and any Core Audio application. Sample rate and bit depth carry through unchanged from the source.
Drag one .ape file or an entire folder onto Convertessa. Nothing is uploaded — all decoding happens on your Mac.
Pick AIFF from the output format list. Convertessa decodes the lossless Monkey's Audio source and writes uncompressed AIFF at the original sample rate and bit depth.
Click Convert. Each file is processed locally and saved alongside the original. Batch jobs run in parallel.
