Your files stay on your Mac.
TTA (True Audio) is a lossless codec rarely supported outside dedicated audio players. Converting to AIFF unpacks the audio into Apple's native lossless container, making every sample accessible in Logic Pro, GarageBand, QuickTime, and the broader Mac toolchain. No audio data is discarded — AIFF carries the same bit-perfect waveform TTA encoded.
Drag one TTA file or an entire folder into Convertessa. The app reads the lossless stream directly — no intermediate decode step needed.
Choose AIFF from the output format list. Convertessa preserves the original sample rate and bit depth, so the AIFF lands at exactly the resolution your TTA source carries.
Click Convert. Processing runs entirely on your Mac — files never leave your machine. The finished AIFF files appear alongside the originals, ready for Logic Pro, GarageBand, or any AIFF-aware app.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

No. Both TTA and AIFF are lossless formats. Convertessa decodes the TTA bitstream and repackages it into an AIFF container without altering the underlying PCM samples. The output is bit-for-bit identical in audio content to the source.
Never. Convertessa runs entirely offline on your Mac. Your TTA files are read from disk, converted in memory, and written back to disk — no network connection is made at any point during conversion.
Yes. Drop a folder onto Convertessa or run convertessa ./folder --to aiff to batch-convert every TTA file inside. Each file is written as a separate AIFF in the same directory.
