Your files stay on your Mac.
TTA stores audio without any loss; MP3 trades some fidelity for broad device compatibility and smaller file sizes. Drag one TTA file or an entire folder into Convertessa. Your audio never leaves your Mac.
Choose MP3 from the output format list. Set quality to balance file size against audio fidelity.

New formats, new features, and fixes — every release, on the record.
Not exactly. TTA is lossless and MP3 is lossy, so some audio data is discarded during encoding. Use the quality setting before converting — a higher value keeps the difference inaudible for most listeners while still reducing file size.
Yes. Because MP3 is a lossy format, Convertessa lets you set the quality level before conversion. A higher setting preserves more detail; a lower setting produces smaller files.
Yes. Convertessa converts entirely offline — no files are uploaded to any server at any point. Everything is processed and stored locally on your Mac.
