Your files stay on your Mac.
TTA stores audio as lossless compressed data; WAV stores the same samples as raw uncompressed PCM. Convertessa decodes each TTA file and writes a standard WAV that any DAW, player, or device can open without a TTA codec. Because both formats are lossless, every sample is preserved exactly — nothing is re-encoded or recalculated.
Drag one TTA file or an entire folder of TTA files onto Convertessa. Files stay on your Mac throughout — nothing is uploaded.
Choose WAV from the output format list. Convertessa will write standard uncompressed PCM WAV files at the original sample rate and bit depth.
Click Convert. Convertessa decodes each TTA file and saves the resulting WAV files alongside the originals (or to a folder you specify).
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

No. Both TTA and WAV are lossless formats. Convertessa decodes the TTA data and writes every sample unchanged into the WAV container, so the output is bit-for-bit identical to the original audio.
Yes. Convertessa reads the sample rate and bit depth from the TTA file and writes the WAV at the same values — no resampling or recalculation is applied.
Yes. Drop a folder onto Convertessa and it will process every TTA file inside it. You can also run convertessa /path/to/folder --to wav in the terminal to batch-convert from the command line.
