Your files stay on your Mac.
3GP bundles audio and video into a compact container built for mobile networks. Converting to TTA extracts the audio track and re-encodes it as lossless TTA — zero quality reduction. The entire conversion runs locally on your Mac; nothing is uploaded.
Drag one 3GP clip or an entire folder onto Convertessa. Batch mode processes every file in the folder in a single pass.
Pick TTA from the output format list. Convertessa will extract the audio track from each 3GP file and encode it as lossless TTA.
Click Convert. TTA files appear alongside your originals. No internet connection required — files never leave your Mac.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

Never overwrite a file by accident. Convertessa appends safe suffixes automatically.
Every job is logged locally. Re-run a previous conversion or revisit recent outputs in a click.

Right-click any file in Finder and choose Convert. A Quick Action handles it on the spot — no need to open the app first.

No cloud. No account. No upload. Every conversion happens entirely on-device, using the power already in your Mac. What you convert is nobody’s business but yours.
Script conversions, wire them into your build, or batch a folder from the terminal. The same engine, no GUI required.

No. TTA is a lossless format, so the audio track extracted from your 3GP file is preserved exactly. The only things removed are the video stream and any metadata Convertessa strips during conversion.
It is discarded. TTA is an audio-only format, so Convertessa extracts just the audio track from the 3GP container. If you need to keep both streams, choose a container format such as MKV or MP4 as your output instead.
Yes. Drop a folder onto Convertessa or run convertessa /path/to/folder --to tta from the terminal. Every 3GP file in the folder is converted in one pass.
