Your files stay on your Mac.
MXF is a professional broadcast container that wraps audio and video streams together. Converting to TTA pulls the audio tracks out and re-encodes them as True Audio — a bit-perfect lossless format. The result is a standalone TTA file whose audio is identical to the source, with no upload and no data leaving your Mac.
Drag one MXF file or an entire folder of them onto Convertessa. The app reads the audio streams directly from each container — no intermediate export step needed.
Pick TTA from the output format list. Convertessa targets the lossless True Audio codec, so every sample from the original MXF audio track is preserved exactly.
Click Convert. Each MXF is processed locally on your Mac and the resulting TTA files land in the same folder. Nothing is uploaded; the conversion runs fully offline.
Images, audio, video, documents, archives and eBooks — all converted natively, right on your Mac.

Right-click any file in Finder and choose Convert. A Quick Action handles it on the spot — no need to open the app first.

No cloud. No account. No upload. Every conversion happens entirely on-device, using the power already in your Mac. What you convert is nobody’s business but yours.
Script conversions, wire them into your build, or batch a folder from the terminal. The same engine, no GUI required.
